The mattress technology features hand-nested calico pocket springs with 1716 springs in a King size, complemented by upholstery using British fleece wool and Devonshire fleece wool, finished with finest ticking and hand-tufting. The borders are upholstered with protective wool and feature two rows of hand side-stitching, horizontal handles and air vents for ventilation. The overall depth is 8.3 inches (21 cm) plus an estimated 2.4 inches of doming; the divan version uses a solid timber frame and offers options for high, low, shallow, or firm edge, or drawer configurations, with 756 springs in King for the divan.
